After three years of struggle, Jagga Jasoos is finally hitting the theatres! Of course, a lot has changed since the work on this movie began, starting with the constant delays to Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s relationship going kaput. You might know that even now, there has been some delay in terms of the release as we EXCLUSIVELY told you, the movie won’t release in UAE today. Despite all the hardships, the movie is finally seeing the light of the day as it will release in India tomorrow. There are too many things to be excited about. Of course, considering how this is the last movie you’ll be seeing Ranbir and Katrina in together, you better flock to the theatres on the first day and watch the film! But it’s not just their chemistry that you should watch the movie for. This time RK Jr has something different to offer to the critics, who have often claimed that he does the same kind of roles in all his movies. The plot is pretty simple as the actor goes on a quest to search for his father, who is believed to be dead, along with Katrina, a journalist. Plot – 
Jagga Jasoos is a musical adventure romance drama about a young detective, Jagga, Ranbir, who is on a quest to find his father, who has been missing for a long time now. While people tell him that his father died in a car crash, he doesn’t believe them. And hence starts a whole chase sequence where bad guys are after him. He is accompanied by a journalist named Shruti, played by Katrina. Another important detail is the fact that Jagga stutters since birth and therefore sings in situations. In various instances while have assumed that the movie seems like Barfi! the actor and his director have denied the same. The movie is not an adaptation of any story. It is being produced by Walt Disney Productions.

Music – 
Although the entire jukebox of the film hasn’t been released yet, some songs that are out, show potential that the tracks are very quirky and different. Composed by Pritam, we hear the movie has about 23 tracks in total. Well, it is a musical after all. No doubt the list of songs would be high.
Box office prediction – 
Talking about the buzz that Jagga Jasoos has generated, Trade Analyst, Akshaye Rathi revealed, “The buzz is really interesting and the good thing is the fact that the kids are really fascinated by the trailers and what they have seen so far. The advantage when a kid wants to watch a film is that people won’t buy one ticket, the parents also come along and that obviously translates into a bigger collection. The other thing is the novelty factor for the Indian space. There has not been any Indian film in a while that has been attempted in this genre. There has been kids-only films like Krrish and they were fun to watch. But such a film with fantasy and a lot of things coming together has not hit the screens since a while and that brings in a lot of novelty for the film. The songs have also become popular, so everything is looking good for Jagga Jasoos at the moment.”
