As September draws near, the quality of iPhone 8 leaks is steadily ramping up – which explains the gloriously detailed leak we’re sharing with you today. In the month before a smartphone launch, we typically see very high-quality leaks. That’s because the design is generally finalised by this point, and factories – and often accessory makers too – have detailed schematics of the handset to work from. That’s how tech site BGR was able to obtain what it claims is an iPhone 8 dummy unit – a fake version of the phone based on factory schematics. In a report published this week, BGR shows off the dummy unit in a series of photographs that give us a good idea of what Apple’s next flagship smartphone might look like.
